[SOLVED] item picture and translation groups

hello

I have 2 questions :

I'd like to add some pictures to some items. It's under images and link tab on joomla. But I cannot find this option in flexicontent. I will need those exact fields as some other component will pickup this picture to show it into a module.

now that I am under joomla3, I'd like to use the translation native association option, but, I do not find how to use it in flexicontent. How can I link my existing content which are already in each language ?

yes you can , this needs to be made easier to enable,

1. in FLEXIContent system plugin, exclude SUPER Admins from backend redirection (for article manager)

2. Now a super admin can access Joomla's backend article manager, visit it and click "Options" to open the
Joomla article manager parameters
find the parameter that enables "image and links" and enable it

a new Tab will appear in FLEXIcontent item form

but translation sill nok

Is there any way to manage this directly via flexicontent ?

to actived translation => go to global config of flexicontent and actived translation group option
now you can manage language like native joomla system

yes I already did that, but it works only for new items. When item already exists, you cannot associate it to any other item :

Original content being translated
Current content item is the Original Content of the Translation Group

no option to associate it to any other item

I have as well some error message when switching from a language to another on some menu items

please disable debug message in the Joomla SYSTEM plugins
find plugin: FLEXIcontent advanced Route

and turn of the debugging parameter

about your question for associating translations, i don't understand you don't want to use the FLEXIcontent associations ?
-- instead you want to use Joomla associations ?

currently translation assosiations are stored differently by FLEXIcontent
you can enable, inside the 1st TAB of the component parameters
-- the frontend links of associations use Joomla 3 method of creating SEF links for associations

yes but it means that we have some bug here. is there anyway to fix it maybe instead of hidding it ?

any idea about the translation issue ?
