I am trying out FC 3.0 BETA6b Requires login. I noticed that users need to login to be able to view the content. How can I make it so that the public can see the content? All fields, types, template are set for Public Access. What am I missing?

Found the problem. In selecting the menu item, I chose "My Items" which requires me to login. I selected "Category" and now works as expected, lists the items for that category.

Should select "Category" when defining the menu item instead of "My Items" which requires logging in.

Hello

also if you select "My items",
and the user is unlogged,

- then a system message that your are trying to display your "owned items" is set/displayed,
and the user is redirected to login,

this is the expected / desired behaviour

- and if such a message is not desired then menu item you may want to set it registered access thus it will not be displayed to unlogged user
