Hello,
maybe stupid quesiton but i can't find where config this option in FC 2.2.1

I have category's tree like that :
Code:
root ->uncategorised ->artcile ->Book -->sub1 book ---->sub1 sub1 book ----->sub2 sub1 book ----->sub3 sub1 book -->sub2 book ----->sub1 sub2 book ----->sub2 sub2 book ---->sub3 sub2 book -->sub3 book ---->sub1 sub3 book ---->sub2 sub3 book ->other cat
I have a menu item categories displaying the category book.
I would to use the category as filter. But of course i only want to display
Book
Code:
---->sub1 book -------->sub1 sub1 book ------->-sub2 sub1 book -------->sub3 sub1 book ---->sub2 book -------->sub1 sub2 book -------->sub2 sub2 book -------->sub3 sub2 book ---->sub3 book -------->sub1 sub3 book -------->sub2 sub3 book

Not all my tree.

Any idea?

Regards

Hello

If current view is
category view and category id is set (will not work with multi-category view)

then the "categories" filter should only display the current category and its subtree

Hello,
it is a "categories" menu item, not category menu item.

I try with "category" menu item. I am able to display all items from sub sub tree.
I get sub tree in the category filter.
Is it a way to display in the category filter the sub sub trees?

Hello

- in category view, we use the URL variable "cid"
(i noticed that the category itself is added which makes little sense because it is same a the filter being empty so i have removed)

- in multi-categories view,
it is very desirable to have this
and it is not a proble of implementing,

it is about deciding best behaviour ...
a. add a parameter to menu item?
b. OR add all the selected categories + their children ?

Hello

as implied in previous answers (above), the handling/deciding the categories show in categories filter
for the multi-categories view, was always desired

- added proper handling (personally i am satisfied with the given solution, read the comment)
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck...7eee3207342a5803a42f

i have test it, but please test it too
