[SOLVED] Hiding Description main field

Hi,
I can hide the main text description in the type configuration.
When you do so, you have a warning "you loose Joomla compatibility for these type" (obviously).
So i have a simple question : if i want to keep this field in one type but i don't want to see the tab and the field in the backend form for item of this type, can i just hide it (the tab or the field) without completly deactivate it for the type ? I have to keep the description tab shown for regular article in the same time (i know that you can disable the field, just wandering if this possible to hide for some type without disabling)...

about compatibility

usually in description field
- we trigger ALL content plugins and also the Content Event on System plugins

so if you disable it you need to enable triggering of ALL plugins (=select none plugin in the list) in some other field,

in general when disabling it keep in mind the above


- about hidding it, the way to do it is only by at each content type
