Hi,

First, well done on FC v3.x! Great job with lots of great improvement.

I've just installed FC v3.0.4 on a fresh J 3.4.1. My site has 2 languages (English & Vietnamese) and are both set-up with English being the default. I've created categories in both languages. Up to now, everything is going well.
After creating 1 menu item for a single category set as "English" language; I tried to create its Vietnamese version. But when clicking on the "select" button to choose my Vietnamese category, the pop-up window showing the list of available category is not showing any category that are set in Vietnamese. It only shows categories set in English. Even if i select Vietnamese in the filter.

I do not have the same problem for menu item pointing to a single item. I can select any item, regardless the languages setting.
I know they are published and have item in them because I did a test by creating my Vietnamese menu selecting an english category before saving and closing. I then changed the category id of the URL manually and directly in the db.
And everything works well. The menu item points to the correct category showing the correct items. And the translation association of the menu item works also correctly when changing language on the front-end.

As soon as i set the category to English, it appears in the list of category pop-up when editing a menu item to point to a single category. Change it back to Vietnamese and it's no longer showing in the list.
It's also worth noting that if i create a menu item pointing to multiple categories, i can select my Vietnamese categories.

So I'm not sure if somehow i changed a setting some where, I've looked at all the tabs in the category settings and global setting but can not find anything related to that.
But it almost look like a problem of the menu item rather than an issue with a category settings. As if menu item for single category does not load all categories.

Any idea would be more than appreciated. I've been running around for almost hours on that one. And i really can not find anything wrong that can cause that.

Cheers

Hello

so you click "new" (menu item) and select "Category" type menu item

then you click "select category" and in the popup window setting the language filter to "Vietnamese" does not list the categories of Vietnamese language ?

i tested this locally and i can not replicate it , you may send a PM with super admin login and site URL

Thanks ggppdk for your quick reply.

It was very strange, It was intermittent. And some times the problem was the other way around with the languages.
I finally uninstalled, reinstalled, clear cache, clear cookies, logged back in and so far everything is back to normal.

It was indeed strange as it would not even show any error or notice, nothing. Which is why it took hours to find nothing at first.

Anyhow, it's all good now.

Thanks for your help.
