Hi - I am using Flexicontent ver 3.0.8. If I create a menu with multiple categories, I am unable to understand how to change the various parameters like image parameters, number of columns etc.

Here's the page mumbai.hotkhana.com/

I can change these parameters for a menu with a single category but not with multiple categories. Can you help please

Cheers!

Hello

do you speak of "Multiple categories item" ?

from you text i understand that you speak of the "template parameters", right ?
and you speak of the blog template ?

- Joomla validation in menu manager will delete parameters that are not in the XML file, that is why they do not appear there

Here is what to do, to set them:
- go to templates manager and duplicate blog template as blog-1 (or use a name that you like)
- then edit the category layout of the blog-1 template and set what you need
- then go to multi-category menu item and select to use "blog-1"

Hi - Thanks for the reply. I tried that and it worked. However, what I could not see in the "display parameters" of the template was that the image source had only the option of "extract from main text.
I have multiple image parameters but these were not displaying in the image source. I have attached screen shot

Cheers!

Hello

I have multiple image parameters but these were not displaying in the image source. I have attached screen shot

- the Image Source will display FLEXIcontent fields
- if you want to be able to ALSO select Joomla Intro / Full images,
then create a FLEXIcontent image field (with an appropriate name) and in it configure "Source mode" to be "Intro/Full"
