[SOLVED] Using weblink field

Hi,

I'm using FLEXIxontent 3.0.8 and Joomla 3.4.5,.

I'm trying to do a simple thing and I've tried a lot of settings.

I want a field where users would input a URL and the item view would show a text that links to the URL. For example, link title would be Facebook and it would link to the URL that is in the field. The title "Facbook" could not be changed by the user.

I tried to do it with a simple text field and add the <a> tag in the prefix but an extra / appears at the start of the URL.

You do not need to use prefix / suffix or do anything manually

- Weblink field does exactly this: display a text linked to a URL
(and can display hits)

- Extended weblink field does the above and also has optional properties:
a. mouse over tip (text)
c. absolute / relative selection (radio)
d. CSS style (drop down select)
e. custom HTML tag ID (text)

What I was looking for is a title field that can't be modified by the user but your solution will do.
