Hi,

I'm using joomla version 3.4.8 and flexi version 3.0.10-rc2a.

I made a script that will unpublish any article that contains a passed event. It changes the state from 1 (published) to 0 (unpublished). In the back end I see that my articles have been unpublished, but on the website, they still show in the article list and when I click on them I get this error : Content is no longer available (reason: unpublished).
If I do go on the article that are supposed to be unpublished and click save, they will succesfully be unpublished on the website.

Is it a flexi or joomla issue?

Thanks.

Hello

5 or more reasons for view showing unpublished items
- logged super administrator
- user owns the item
- user has privilege "Ignore publication state"
- Joomla "view caching" has not expired (conservativeprogressive caching) or you are using SYSTEM cache plugin
- or other caching (e.g. proxy server)
- or NEW reason in v3.0.10: due to our browser caching support !!

IF you have filtered a category view then browser is instructed to cache the page
- you can click CTRL-F5 (or F5 in linux) to by pass browser cache

The first 3 points dont apply to me since I don't have front end login. I don't have proxy server either.
I have another website using joomla 3.4.6 and flexi 3.0.8, that runs the same script that seems to still work to my recent testing.
I tested changing manually the state without the script, and still does the same error. But in the back end if I change the state it works.

Hello

aahh,
i missed the part that you say that you use a custom script

- frontend views (and filtering )also use DB table:
flexicontent_items_tmp

you need to update state in it the tmp table too
