Hi evreybody,

The adressint field is very powerful.
Anyway, i need to store the latitude and longitude in separates fields (not serialized), so i'm looking to populate 2 text fields (latitude and longitude) from the values generated with the adressint field.
Is there a clean way to do that or need i to do this with a custom javascript in the item form?

Best regards

hello why you need this ?
it realy simple du de serialize in front-end view
i use it in my module github.com/micker/mod_flexigooglemap

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

i think you will need to create 2 text fields and hide them with CSS and then also use JS to copy the value into the 2 text fields before form submits

Thanks both for the answers.

@micker
I will have a look to the module, but i'd like to use separate fields to allow easier import/export from/to external data sources. And i 'd like to use another map library than google map (leaflet / OSM).

@georgios
Ok, it was the way i was thinking to reach my goal.
May be i could write a field plugin : "hidden"
Parameters : name or ID of the input (in the form) to get the value

I will think of that, may be it could be useful for another cases.

Best regards.
