Hello everybody

Is it possible to have a portion of an article displayed by logged in members only, so invisible for normal visitor?

Thank you for your answer.
Best regards.
Francis

Exemple :
For normal visitor :
Aspect général
Robuste, de taille moyenne, à poil long; inscriptible dans un carré.
Comportement / caractère
Plein d'entrain; bon naturel. Chien de compagnie fidèle, doué de nombreux attraits. Sociable, vif, intelligent et plein d'allant; ni farouche, ni batailleur. Ne prodigue pas son affection aux étrangers.

And for registered members :
Aspect général
Robuste, de taille moyenne, à poil long; inscriptible dans un carré.
Proportions importantes
La longueur de la pointe de l’épaule à la base de la queue est égale à la hauteur au garrot.

Comportement / caractère
Plein d'entrain; bon naturel. Chien de compagnie fidèle, doué de nombreux attraits. Sociable, vif, intelligent et plein d'allant; ni farouche, ni batailleur. Ne prodigue pas son affection aux étrangers.

I think something like:
{MEMBER ONLY}
Proportions importantes
La longueur de la pointe de l’épaule à la base de la queue est égale à la hauteur au garrot
{/MEMBER ONLY}

Hello

this is readily available, and it can do more than what you suggest

This is done exactly by the (view) "access" setting of the fields

- it is controlled per field !
- by default access of all fields is public (aka anyone can see them)
- you can change access to be "Registered" or "Basic access" or "Advanced access" or etc

- Use any membership component you like (e.g. if you want to accept payments) that will add your users into user-groups with or without payments
(you do not need membership component if you only want to have registered users or if you add users to other user-groups manually and if you do not want to accept payments for memberships)

e.g.
- create your user groups "Basic membership" or "Advanced membership"

example:
Usergroup "Registerd" (already) has access levels: public + registered
Usergroup "Basic membership" will have access levels: public + registered + "Basic access"
Usergroup "Advanced membership" will have access levels: public + registered + "Basic access" + "Advanced access"

and set your fields to have -1- of these access levels: public or registered or "Basic access" or "Advanced access" or ... "Some-name"

please note that this is how Joomla works (every usergroup is assigned multiple access levels), please read Joomla docs about Usergroups and Access levels

Hello ggppdk and thank you for your answer

Ok for the creation of a custom field, but then how to insert this field in the middle of my article, the article being a full page (mainText core), I have no other field used when creating.

For this work, I do a copy / paste from an external page to my work site, the data is in an external database.

Attached is a screenshot of the admin

Best regards.
