hi there,

this is kind of urgent:
I have a menu item of type "Flexicontent > My items".

1) It correctly lists user's items.
2) Users clicks on details page, say domain.com/content_page/123-the-category/987-the-item-title
3) User changes URL liek so: domain.com/content_page/123-the-category/988

He sees a different user's item.
Where exactly do I have to restrict read-permission (visibility? joomla-access-level?)
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello

that is normal,
because viewing is controlled by "access" level

if you publish the content items and the have access "public" then they will be visilbe to ALL users

Solution

to make items will only be visible to the super-admin and to the owner
- either unpublish the items,
- or set their view level to "Special"

Hello

NOTE:
about changing view access level to "Special" or to "SomeAccess"

- items will be visible inside "My items" view,
but no-one , neither the owner will not be able to view them via category view

but owner will be able to open the item view / item form , via "My items" view

One more question so that I can fix this:
How can /auto-set/ new items' Access Level to SomeLevel on Front-End-Submit?
EDIT: At the moment, new items are public, and admin has to set their Access level to 'someLevel'.

What I did already:
- set the Access Level for item's type to SomeLevel
- set the Access Level for item's primary (and only) category to SomeLevel

thanks!

fixed it: (this is obviously a joomla-core-feature): BE > global config (administrator/index.php?option=com_config) > site > "Default Access Level" > set Default Access Level here.
