Hello,
I have a problem with the use of search flexi with several types.
I tried to set the item of flexisearch menu (see screenshot below):

When I create a second item type (themes + item) Flexisearch finds that "theme" such content!
If the "searchable types" field I select both types, flexi search will always find that the type of content "Themes" !

I can not let him find the contents of several types ...
It accepts only one type ...
Is this normal?
Thanks a lot for your help

Hello

YES, when you select "Per type" search

then you are required to select 1 search type before the search filters of this type are displayed
- so you are searching for items of a specific type

not all types have the same fields and filters, and that was the reason for putting effort to implement exactly this

- previous versions had a bug that the "Type" selector was not shown under some case
but with v3.0.14-rc2a the "type" selector should be shown in frontend

Thank you for your answer
but the problem is that I do not want to enable search by type.
the type selection button is off.
I let " searchable type " empty.

But flexi search finds me the contents of only one of the two types !
( While joomla search finds both types )

In an emergency, I deleted my second type and I attribute different templates to my items .
Perhaps, i activated the search by types but i don't know where ...

Best regards

Hello

you can select multiple types and search in all of them at once

- just you are at the wrong place to disable / enable "Per type search"

The parameters for "Per type search" is further down (scroll down to find them)
- Text search fields (this is hidden and ignored if you use "basic index" )
- Fields as Filters

disable both parameters

Hello,
I have tried abbord your modification. Without success.
Then I realized that the advanced search is not enabled on the Title and Description fields .
like this :

After activation like this :

Thanks again and best regards
