Is there any way to get the items by a value field? Query, FC method, etc?

sorry you want to do ? descibe more please ....
you can use universal module with multpli scope to display an item for example

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I have an item with a field called "shape" which it can take differents values ("square, triangle, circle, etc.."). I want get all the items with shape = "circle", i.e.

in your categorie administration or menu link to your categorie you can set initial field
just put fieldid##value => your categorie was display with only wanted value
