[TODO] About custom placement of fields in TABs for backend (currently only done for frontend)

hi there,

[my question]
In BE, can I place my custom field of type "CORE property > Publish down" among my other custom fields?

[my problem]
I have a field of type "CORE property > Publish down".
It does not show up in BE > item form, but instead it keeps showing in slider 'publishing'.
I did order and it using the fields-manager. I also saved the new field order for my content-type that uses the field.

I am aware that custom fields of type 'date' > data-source can /show/ the item's publish_down_date. but i need to /edit/ it's publish_down_date.

[why the question]
I have "event"-items, and I want to auto-unpublish them right after the event happened.
So I thought I use the core property "publish_down" as the event date.
Or is there generally a better way to go here, with a non-core custom field?

[setup]
j 3.5.1
fc 3.0.14-rc2a

thanks so much for reading this lengthy question.

hi,
yes, I meant backend item form.
Yes, it would be /sooo unbelievably cool/ to have it in a custom place in backend, too! ;)

Hello

Please read my last comment here:
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/issues/479

will do in the "short" term,
- in fact implementation should be relative easy for backend,

but for frontend we already have parameters to fully customize the form and need to examine how to smootly intergrate with it
