Quick checkbox-like selection of some predefined tags?

Is it possible to predefine tags?
So users and admin have no ability to add new tags and can only choose them from existing tags?
May it also possible to choose predefined tags with checkboxes during adding new item?
It will be more simple, than entering tags from keyboard.

yes we have 2 ACL privileges
- "create Tags" (allows user to create tags)
- "use Tags" (allows user to use Tag system and use existing Tags)

give to your user-groups only the "use Tags"

- about "admin" i guess you do not mean "Super admins" such users always have ALL privileges, you can not deny priveleges to them

normally now i would just say:
- it is not implemented
- and just create an enhancement issue with no specific date

but, this is not an uncommon request ...
it was supposed to be added already in v3.0.14 / 3.0.15

please note that this will be for some "common" tags, and the "tags selector" will still be displayed for the less common tags

I'm not ask to implement it :blush:
