Featured items ordering

Hi,
might be a funny question, but I can I order Joomla flag featured items? I have a filter item view with items marked featured that are assigned to subcategories. Thanks to the freshly added feature I can show them in filter view: www.servoflo.com/pressure-sensors/air
What I am missing is a possibility to order feutured items (at all, actually).
I have attched a screenshot. There is nowhere a possiblity to filter for featured items, although the featured flag is shown in the State column.

if you visit joomla "Featured articles" you should be able to order them

yes, but it does not have any effect, because FC ignores it or better there is no ordering option for featured.

hhmm, if you create a non-FLEXIcontent menu item of type:
Articles / "Featured items", then the ordering should be used

You are right. I was talking about the feature to have featured articles showing in category view the filters are active: www.servoflo.com/pressure-sensors/air

- setting show featured only items as initially display is ON
their category "ordering attribute" is used

you can order them inside their category

I have set
Limits -before- text-search, filtering, alpha-indexing to "Featured only"
Limits -after- text-search, filtering, alpha-indexing to "Both"
The four items you see in the list are marked featured and are assigned to subcategories not to the parent category the menu item is pointing to: www.servoflo.com/pressure-sensors/air
Doesn't matter how I order the featured articles in Joomla Featured articles settings it has no result in the items ordering in frontend view.

Yes ,
- i meant order the featured items in the items manager like you order the other items

Then when categoy view is displaying featured items only
- then it will use the ordering you have set in items manager if your configured order method in category / component parameters is :
the ordering number

Some idea / suggestion ? for better handling of this ?:
- if only showing featured items, then use other ordering (we will add new parameter) ?

e.g. category configured order is creation date,
but if category is currently showing only featured items, then use the new parameter which can be set to:
- flexicontent "ordering" number
- or we can have as an option too, their ordering number from Joomla featured articles manager ?

Well, a special ordering would be great. I mean the feature to show featured items only ist great at all. Love it.
If a featured ordering function is too much work, there is always the possibility to have a custom field for ordering. an "organic" ordering would be nicer though.
