Notify all users who interested in the category

Notify all users who interested in the category was created by cpsarathi79
When an item is posted under any category, I want to notify all the users who interested in this category.(While user registration, user have selected some categories as their interest areas).

And the mail format should be different for different item types.

Can we achieve this from flexicontent?
