Main image and thumbs in item details?

How, now we can't use 3rd-party image galleries www.flexicontent.org/forum/20-general-su...folders-feature.html .

So, how to displays main image and several thumbs in item details page?

It does not opens images in full size, like Fancybox.
It 's slow.

Hey! Mini Gallery field - that's what I was looking for!
But it have not same settings for adding images.
It does not have setting for mobiles.
And it does not have settings for displaying in lists - it displays in full mode...

yes we need to create template system for image field to be more flexible but it's an hard work not planned for now ...
an option can be :
- load image in universal module (with active item option)
- create a module template with a other js gallery

I should use mod_flexicontent to displays main image in lists ?

I like how Mini Gallery looks.
But I need to display only 1 first images in lists.

no that i say you can dev a custom display in universal module
=> choose an jquery script and dev it
after you have 2 in universal module
1 current item => to display only value of current item
2 in display : select filed tab => image
3 you can display field html as image or field url as image
=> after load module in item view
module display image of item
with your custom display you can update flexicontent

note the minigallery field will be deprecated and merged to image-gallery field
and existing fields will be "auto-converted" on upgrade

about the "inline gallery" like what you suggest
we were going to add 1 or more gallery options for image field,
but never got time to do it,

also the image field is mostly prepared to
- move galleries to seperate layouts
- add XML file per gallery layout to support customizing the JAVASCRIPT options of every 3rd party gallery
- support sub-folders
- ... more limitation options (user home directories)
- ... support new Joomla media manager more tightly

it is in the short term
but current priority is finish new PDF stuff (done)
and then finish reviews and data import / export ...
