Hi!
Is it possible to add suffix in urls of items?

For example:

/category/sub-category/12-some-item-mysuffix

Thanks.

you need to use an sef component like sh404sef

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Ok, thanks. Too cumbersome...
I was hoping that there is a parameter in the settings.

Hello

- you can do it by editing the alias of your item

Also it is not difficult to implement, e.g.
-- we could add a suffix per type

but is there some real benefit to this, what is the usefulness ?

reason - is to add keyword to url:

/category/sub-category/12-some-item-order
/category/sub-category/12-some-item-download
/category/sub-category/12-some-item-purchase
/category/sub-category/12-some-item-buy

It's Google SEO rule - to have main keywords in URLs.

Hello

right, but for the case that you describe you could use item's alias

1. so why not use the above ? is an extra setting worth it ?
2. also this should be added to item's type or category thus each item will get it from its main category ?

Yes, but we have to edit each item alias. Not usefull.

I thinks it should be setting for Types.

Type Rent - Suffix ="for-rent"
Type Buy - Suffix ="buy-now"

But It can be overrided in category settings.
