Hello

it is not possible to change it without creating problems

it is created by

Code:

JUri::base()

and both Joomla and FLEXIContent and other extension code depend on the way it is created

if we remove the slash from base URL
then URLs like these will break

index.php?option=com_categories&amp;extension=com_banners
index.php?option=com_banners&amp;view=clients
index.php?option=com_banners&amp;view=tracks

so changing the way it is created is not an option
