Exclude itself item in Relation field

When we adding related items list contains itself item.
It should be removed:



Also, we need to highlight already added items or remove them from list (like in tags):



And finally, this is optional but desirable. It will be great not to hide dropdown after adding one item.

Like in Secondary categories. Dropdown not hides after choosing item. We can make multiple choice in several clicks.

I began to assign related items and it's nightmare.
I really don't know if some items already added because they are not highlighted. Also It's possible to add itself item.
Please, can you fix it? I'll make donation for fixing this bug.
It should work same as tags. Already added and itself items should not displays at all.

field is powerful but not highlighting / disabling selected items makes it diffiuclt to use in item form

I actually mean that it is currently not possible to manually order the selected related items after they have been selected.
The way to select the items is a different story and not a good user experience, at least for a large quantity of categories and items.
