Hello
  • Logging already exists for the flexicontent --search-- view

you can enable and view the search word logs by going to backend menu
    Component / Search
(Click Options and enable search logs)

  • In your case the module you are using is doing search via
the search feature of category-based (flexicontent) views
which does not have logging of search words

Hello

i have taken some time to
- copy search word logging code to category view too
- and also added to our backend Dashboard (and to sidebar navigation) a link to enable and open Joomla! 's backend search word logging view

Please use install via URL to install
github.com/FLEXIcontent/flexicontent-cck/archive/3.3.1.x.zip

Please note
- that the "results" link of Joomla backend search word listing, will link to Joomla search view and not flexicontent view

Creating a new backend view specific to flexicontent
(for showing search word logs)
e.g. for changing the above behavior of 'results' link could be paid work

but you can just go along and use the above solution, it maybe enough for your case

Hello,

After 1 month, I have a lot of result when using the search feature. It can take up to 3 or 4mn to display the result (and sometimes, there is a timeout)

Is there a way to optimize the search function ?

Thank you!

Hello

you mean the backend Joomla! search word logging view ?

As the above is not a Flexicontent view,
we have no control over it to optimize the SQL queries of it

Only way to try to optimize the view,
would be to duplicate it and then change it
