i have checked
here is the error that is causing the upload to fail:

Error
An error has occurred.

0 DirectoryIterator::__construct(C:\Windows\temp\fc_fileselement,C:\Windows\temp\fc_fileselement): Access is denied. (code: 5)

Thank you! I've solved the issue by changing the /tmp folder location from C:\Windows\Temp to my Joomla /tmp folder in my php.ini file, and made sure the permissions are set to "write". Click-and-drag works now.

I wonder why it wasn't that obvious to me!

Hello

i saw this error by looking at the network Tab of the browser

rare error, indeed it is due to server configuration
- but we need to give some feedback that the upload has failed
