Flexi Search results not leading to right URL

When using a menu item Flexicontent->Search, the items are listed as intended, but the URLs to the items pages don't always link to the proper menu-item.

There are 3 different outcomes:

The first one is when the URL is as expected, this only seems to work for 2 categories.
https://domain/index.php/myMenu/myItem

The second one is when the category view for the specific category exists, but the items are linked to the default menu.
https://domain/index.php/en/content-page/item/myItem

The third one is when the category view for the specific category exists, but the items are linked to the vanilla content component and the ItemId at the end is my home page. This is also happening for articles that have menu items and items in the general category.
https://domain/index.php/fr/component/content/article/21-faq/73-article-alias?Itemid=103

Can I get some help with this?

Thanks

you need to have a category link (hidden or not) to have a good url rewriting

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hi,

Do you mean I need a category menu item for each category? If so, I do have one for each category.

Hello

If you are using Joomla view or modules then they will create a URL like

https://domain/index.php/fr/component/content/article/21-faq/73-article-alias?Itemid=103

in this case if you want a flexicontent URL,
you can go to type manager and use a "redirect" instead of a "reroute" for the item type

Also

For flexicontent URLs the menu item (e.g. a category menu item) will be selected for item view only if it is possible

- meaning the menu item (and its parent menu items) are of same language or language --ALL-- and have the view access level that current user is granted , e.g. public
