More responsive images

Hi @ all!

im looking to integrate a more responsive way to use the image thumbs sizes for different device sizes.

When I come to use a "lead-image" with a defined field as source (which provides rezised pictures), i can only set one image size to use in the displayed view (Category or Item).

A more responsive way would be to provide all thumbs including the thumbnail sizes to build a "srcset" of it.

I managed to insert any desired thumbnail size by using:
Code:
echo $img_field->thumbs_src['small'][0];
(maybe there is also an easier way to insert them) ,but to make it really responsive, I need at least to add the height and width of each.

I hope everybody can understand my poor explanation.
Im using latest Flexicontent and Joomla!
Thank you in advance!

Hello

The responsiveness is already implemented in most of the galleries
especially last 2 3.3.n version have updated elastislide and gallerific for this purpose

Furthermore the srcset is already set by almost all galleries
before trying to do a custom solution have you tried what is available ?

Ok i got it.

I used the template option to insert an image (Featured items/Standart items), in this mode it will not insert srcset.

Using this image field in template positions will insert srcset.

Again, thank you for such a great component and promt and profound support.
