frontend-submit-form: "Unknown column 'Array' in 'where clause'"

this will occur if $item->created_by is an array , but item->created_by should be a numeric (an integer)

but how can the above happen ? maybe some plugin during content plugin made the modification ?

Uh, I have no idea, don't know about any 'non-regular' plugins running.
There are notifications about those Frontend-item-creations. Those Notifications go to a uer group and two users. Might that have to do something with the error?

EDIT:
The content type that can be created via my frontend-form has three custom fields (textarea, image Reusable (DB mode), checkbox).
The textarea and the checkbox both have -in their field configs- in "viewing" > "content plugins" > "Trigger content plugins"=no.
The image(s) field does not show info about content plugins.
