Is there a beaten path to using alternative comment systems, especially hosted comment services like Disqus?

Could that be done with some flexicontent templates or custom fields?

I have just started testing Flexicontent, and Iit is very good. The comment issue and lack of front end editing means I can't use it for now, but I will watch as it progresses.

Hi,
That could be done either through a custom field (with php knowledges) or through template editing.
I'm working on adapting the plugin from joomlaworks for flexi.
It just requires some cleanup and it will be soon published.
