Use Flexicontent with excisting Joomla content

This may sound like a silly question but am I able to create new articles in Flexicontent without having to import all the other existing articles already created in my Joomla 1.5 site? I have already set up a demo on my sample site and like what I see in comparison to K2 etc! Quite simply I'd like to set up just one category using Flexicontent

Yes, you can.

You have to create a section Flexicontent and choose it in the Flexicontent Global parameters.
