Frontend submission and editing?

I'm wondering if frontend EDITING is available only with FLEXIaccess? Or does FLEXIcontent stand-alone provide frontend edit capabilities?

I do not have FELXIaccess installed. I've upgraded my FLEXIcontent to 1.5.3, logged in to the frontend and I am not able to edit any FLEXIcontent items from the frontend.

I am able to frontend edit my regular Joomla articles, but I am not able to frontend edit my FLEXIcontent items with many custom fields? Is there some code I have to put in my FLEXIcontent template to enable frontend editing? Please advise.

Hi,

What happens if you add

Code:

<?php echo flexicontent_html::editbutton( $this->item, $this->params ); ?>

in the file item.php of the template you use?
