Hello Micker,

Did you find an answer to that question ?
I don't need versionning on my website but I forgot to disable it at the beginning and now my database is full because of the huge size of the jos_flexicontent_items_versions table.
I don't understand how the versionning works. If I clean the table, will I loose the current version of my contents ? Or is it safe in the jos_content table ?

Thanks

Do not delete the tables. You can empty the tables:
jos_flexicontent_versions
and
jos_flexicontent_items_versions

by executing (e.g. in phpmyadmin):

TRUNCATE TABLE `jos_flexicontent_versions`
TRUNCATE TABLE `jos_flexicontent_items_versions`

PLEASE TRUNCATE --BOTH-- tables not just one of them otherwise you will have problems with enabling versioning later.

Regards

this topic is still up-to-date with last fc version 2.1.3.
5 versions minimum is too much !!

Hello

yes, reducing the number of versions ("versions kept" component parameter), will not trim the tables

this happens only when you save each individual item

- your request is that we provide a way to trim the versions tables from inside FLEXIcontent UI ?
