Hide Author Name and Created Date - Category Item View

Hi,

I am trying to unpublish or hide the created/ modfied date of an item, and the author name (e.g. Administrator) in the category item view.

My category view is set as blog layout. I want to list furniture products in a category, and intend on altering the template of the blog layout soon. However, I do not need the date and author name in for the item (in the category view). I can get it to disappear in the stand alone item view.

Any help will be much appreciated!

For me it doesn't work! No author name nore created date fields are in the templates, but in Frontend they are displayed. someone had a hint for me ?

did you assign your template at your categorie ?

not sure what you mean? but I think that I assigned the template to the category. in the template there is no author name field and no created field.

I will post in the next post the frontpage itemview in the livereader categorie, where you can see the author name and the lastmodified field. I will not show this informations on the frontend.
