How to add "Dashboard" view on Control Panel View?

I've seen this with K2 and think it's a great option.

When you log into the Admin Control Panel you are taken to the Control Panel view, which is the index.php default page view.

How can we add the Dashboard to this view? Most of our "Managers" only really work out of the Dashboard to control their site and with the "Waiting for Approval, Draft & In Progress" lists being on the Dashboard page, those are very important things to see.

So - how can we do this?

No - the same thing can be accomplished with CQI Custom Quick Icons.

But that does have a nice feature of redirecting the Control Panel to the FlexiContent Dashboard.

I'll create a screenshot and post it to show exactly what I'm talking about.

Thank you for that module information though, might come in handy.

Hi,

May be, we can developp an administrator Module which displays Items 'Waiting for approval, Drafs, In progress' and display it in the control Panel (cpanel position of the khepri template)

It'll be the same as in the Flexicontent DashBoard (on the right)

I will have a look, i think it's a simple module.

Regards

That would be a GREAT Module. Then you can just add the extra icons that you want in the control panel.

This is what I was thinking...

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
