Joomlafish missunderstood ??

Hello..
thanks for the twitter upcoming announcement.
I am not sure that well understand the joomla fish translation/integration system with Flexicontnt..

- is it possible to translate an item directly from within flexicontent?
- is it that the way to duplicate an item for example and put English files in a category while french one in another category to deal with each separately?

Hi,
In FLEXIcontent there's no real translation. You can either create an item in English or in French (or whatever) There's no relationships between those two items.
You can put them in the same cat and when the cat will be displayed, the frontend category view will only display one of them (depending on your site active language).
In the admin content UI the two articles will be identified by a country flag.
There many advantages in this method, but one limitation. The limitation is you can't switch language on the site item view (because the english and the french articles have no relationships).
