Just a short demo. I have done this with minimal code and did not alter any code regarding the com_frontpage. The Admin drop down is hard-coded but it does work very good.

at first desactived the plugin for moottolls compatibility and the drop down is desactived if you list is more 50 items (for performance)

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
