Hits duplication issue

Hits duplication issue was created by fesghel
Hi everyone,
I searched a bit and found out some others have this issue. With each hit, the number goes up twice. Why is it so? And how can I get it work honestly?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I'm not using any SEF yet, but I want to use one.
I searched on the forum and didn't find any solution. Others only told the problem.

No difference. With both of them, the hit increments twice by each visit.
