[solved] Editor buttons gone (since fc 1.5.4 (I think)) was created by gcprnet

I upgraded to fc 1.5.4 two days ago and now I'm facing a new problem with (any) editor: My editor used to have some buttons at the bottom of its window: "Insert Code"(sourcerer), JComments ON, Jcomments OFF. Since 1.5.4 these buttons are gone on the "description" field of my articles. All other fields I defined with fieldtype textarea do have these buttons (but this is not where I need them...)
I use JCE but I have the same problems using TinyMCE or FCK. Also the plugins for these buttons (editor-xtd) are enabled.
Any ideas how I could get my buttons back and working again?

i think maybe a css problem ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Sure, I attached a screenshot to this post. The first textarea is the description field of the article, the other ones are fields that I defined myself. The new fields have the buttons, the core-field doesn't.
I'm pretty sure, it's not a CSS problem though. I checked the page with firebug: the buttons are simply not there.

Hi micker,

... same problem here. Buttons gone immediately after update on 1.5.4. (nonumber extensions).
No idea how to change this by (de-)activating something.
