When active versioning and disable autopublish

From frontend editor a user editor, modify a item (version 1).
The version of item up to 2 , for example
edit same item and the last changes not show why show version 1

User publish edit the same item and show version 1, he not approve the version 2 why not show.

In backend show actual version 1, and version 2 to approve

Hello can you post this in bugtracker and an email to manu ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I have the same problem. I can only publish the edited item in backend.

How could I edit and be autopublish too?

Another issue is that, when I click to edit, the form returns without my selected parameter to submit an article.

Example: when an user submits an article, I set the parameters not to show META and user can select only one category. When the user cliks on edit, it shows META and all categories.

I could not find this in bugtracker.

Thanks!

Yes front-end editing needs some work on this, for now i am using back-end, and limiting access to what users see by FlexiAccess.

It is in the TODO list ...

This is not exactly a bug but rather incomplete feature.

From one point of view this is the correct behavior, because the version is not yet approved, so when user reedits, he/she will see the currently approved (older) version. This can be confusing, what is needed is to give the user option to load the unapproved version, or load the unapproved with a warning.

Added to the bug-tracker, this is possible to fix/enhance before 1.5.6 final, maybe.

About showing META and all categories, this needs fixing.

Regards
