Error Message - Warning: array_diff() [function.array-diff] was created by gymrat

I was working on creating items for my site and got the following error messages all of a sudden when I tried to edit the items.

Code:

Warning: array_diff() [function.array-diff]: Argument #1 is not an array in /Volumes/Websites/htdocs/xxx/yyyy/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/items.php on line 185

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /Volumes/Websites/htdocs/xxx/yyyy/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/items.php on line 187

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /Volumes/Websites/htdocs/xxx/yyyy/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/items.php on line 187

Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #3 is not an array in /Volumes/Websites/htdocs/xxx/yyyy/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/items.php on line 187

Warning: array_unique() [function.array-unique]: The argument should be an array in /Volumes/Websites/htdocs/xxx/yyyy/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/models/items.php on line 187

The above error messages were from the backend. Then I got these in the front end.

Any clue why these errors came up all of a sudden? Thank you.

are you using custom fields??

what kind of fields are you creating ??

i just have text, text-area and image custom fields. no dates.

so when you try to edit the item in the back end
you get this message? did you delete any "types" recently that may have been associated with it? I'm thinking you must have deleted something that was associated with it like the type.
I want to recreate this error can you post a link to the site on the front-end?

thank you very much for helping. i had two types of messages (one in the front and one in the back) as shown in my first post. i did not delete anything nor did i add/change anything. the error came about when i clicked on an item to edit. while the page was loading, i clicked on another link (i forgot which link it was but i wanted to add an item instead of edit). then when the page finished loading, it gave me those errors.

i did a little further investigation and found that my com_content was corrupted. so i emptied it in phpmyadmin. since i didn't have much to begin with, i just started over. now it's working fine. sorry i don't have a screen shot of the errors. regardless, the component is terrific. can't wait to get tutorials on how to use the component more effectively - ie. changing template layouts. thank you again.

for new template layouts just reverse engineer it.

I noticed that if you just copy the folder that holds the layouts you can get a pretty good idea of how to set up your own. Then upload the folder with your new layout and it will appear in the template layouts.
get out your text editor and work the CSS.
Im gonna work on one myself for my site.
