Frontend submission for non-editors

Hi there,

When non-editors submit items via the item submission form, they should appear in the "waiting for approval" section, right? They don't.

I'm using the item submission form for an internal buy/sell section on our intranet. I would be nice if an administrator/editor didn't have to approve the items submitted there, even though the users submitting are not editors/publishers. Can I do that?

I've created a text field for the price, but when I go to approve the item (and when the waiting for approval doesn't work I have to know the name of the item to find it), the field is empty, even though it was filled out by the submitter.

mmm, you mean latest v1.5.6 r1110?

this seems to be a bug, the new item state is wrongly set

If user cannot publish it should be "unapproved" but instead it is published !!

opened issue here, will fix soon:

No, I'm using FlexiContent 2.0 RC2.

Right now it is published, but still not visible in the frontend until an administrator opens the item and re-saves it.

If it is published then we must also check "publication starting date" , will add this info to the opened issue.

Regards

Okay, thanks.

The same error appears when I allow certain groups to edit items. For instance, I have one page, that I want all registered users within the group Employees to be able to edit. However, the Edit button doesn't even appear in the frontend for those users.

mmm , i might have missed this one because i am using FLEXIaccess,
you mean without FLEXIaccess, the logged users that can edit an item do not get the edit button in the item view?
