[explained] Image popup not working

I don't know if I am doing something totally wrong, but no matter what I do the popup function of the image field is not working.

- which popup method have you set in image field configuration? multibox ?

- can you provide an online link?

Yes, Multibox. But it seems as if the popup setting is fully ignored. Here is the link (you will need a username/password) which I will PM you:

There is a bug in both FLEXIcontent voting and favorites Javascript code use mootools JS library, but they do not make sure it gets loaded before them.

So in rare occasions FLEXIcontent voting and favorites may run before mootools have been loaded.

This bug appeared in your page. Just i could not test the fix in your page because login admin access you gave me did not work

OK , reason for popup not happening was that you have set in item view the thumbnail to be size 'large', when thumbnail is large, the popup is silently disabled.

It makes little sense to have both thumbnail and poup image be of size 'large'


Since there is no warning of this 'disable', it is confusing.

In next revision, i will remove this behavior, to avoid confusion.

Furthermore i see that all thumbnails of the fields are of same size, anyway we found reason.

thanks a lot for your help and your explanations. Of course now it makes sense. I thought that the image field popup would use the original image file for popup display.

On issue left: I have set the popup dimensions to 800x600. The popup is now larger but not 800x600. But if I look at the real image size (Firefox, show image) of the popup it has the right dimensions!

By the way, based on this tutorial www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic I managed to use Yoothemes's Widgetkit Lightbox with the image field!
