After Installing can not save the Global Configuration

Hello,

Flexi Content is a great extension but i have one problem after installing Flexicontent 2.0.

Joomla 2.5.6, Flexicontent 2.0 RC7

Installing O.K, then i get the message "open an save the Global_Configuration. When i open and save the configuration file, the Joomla Konfiguration File was shown and nothing happens. The folders are writable. What could be the reason.

Please help me.

Is this the first time flexicontent is installed on this site or you upgraded from a beta installation of FLEXIcontent?

It seems, like a bug, i have some thoughts, but for this one i will need access to the site , otherwise i cannot find what is wrong ... you can send me a PM

For some reason your installation will not save the FLEXIcontent configuration if there are more that 30 ACL actions (permissions) in flexicontent permissions configuration file.

I have deleted a few FLEXIcontent permission to be able to save configuration.

Can you install FLEXIcontent on same server on a FRESH joomla installation? and test ..

Can you test with a new PHP version?

Yes i can test it on another Server, tomorrow.

I test ist on a local xampp webserver with PHP 5.2.9
and it works!

The posted form data of the configuration page are truncated, which is strange, it could be a bug of the specific PHP version 5.2.6, combined with the specific PHP configuration.

FLEXIcontent component configuration has become larger, maybe the reason is the number of allowed posted variables:

; How many GET/POST/COOKIE input variables may be accepted
max_input_vars = 5000

If this variable is low then the POSTED data will be truncated, also make sure this one is 5000 or more

You can see if this is the reason by checking the APACHE server log, just after clicking save in global configuration
