Hello,

Does Alias for Type in Backend not support UTF-8?
When I enter some Japanese with English, only English is saved on Alias.

Regards,
Brandon

Please which version of FC ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Well actually it was never allowed to be editable,
and default behavior is not use UTF-8.

It is trivial to add editing of it, i have added locally, just why do you need it ?

You have a custom Query and retrieve it and use it somewhere?

No, I don't use custom query for this.
In backend, It is easy for us to manage Types if they are in our language. It is not a problem at all but just wanted to mention that. :)

I have made it editable,
but we may use this alias in CSS class names? (currently we use type ID)

Most important for types are these:
1. Add usage Access level ,

e.g. Items with type "Free Stuff" will be viewable by all(public access level) , and items with type "Member Stuff" will be viewable by users that have Access Level "Member"

2. Create ACL privelege

which will control what type of items users can create !!

These i think are important
