Read More only goes away on first row.

No matter what I set trying to hide "read more" in the blog listing. It only goes away on the first row of each page.

Read more is force on when you strip and cut to a maximum length.

I set that to NO.

Blog template?

This parameter appears twice in the blog template parameters, once for leading items (articles that span across all columns) and once for "Intro" items that take space of single column.

-- And i see that the header separators "Leading Items" and "Into items" are missing (i have just added them), so maybe you have set this only for leading (thus what you call "first row")

The problem is that for
blog template parameters:

-- all grouping headers despite being there , are not displayed , i have fixed it, now it will be easy to configure and avoid confusion

You mean in a new release?

So I will be able to upgrade, go back to the blog template, reconfigure and it will work?

The change is in file
category.xml

and it is cosmetical, no new parameters just the fixed some Headers not being displayed !, which made configuration a bit confusing

e.g. Headers
"Leading Items"
"Intro Items"
were not displayed

you do not need to do anything
