[Solved] Menu parameters aren't respected on blog next pages

Hi!

It seems that there is a problem. Here are the fact :

I copied the blog template, and use this new template.

On first page (5 first items) the display is as i want. On the next pages (5 next items and after) the display changes. To be more clear :
on first page, Only the 200 first letters are displayed, the html is stripped (as i want), and the fist image of the description area is well displayed, as needed.

On next pages, all the description is displayed (no html stripped, no cut after 200 letters, image displayed as in the description in html).

display ok (item 1-5) :

display not ok :

Seems to be a bug...

Yes such a behavior is bug the menu item override should be applied to the following pages,

A question:
AFTER clicking on next page does the menu item remain active or is another menu item being selected ??

I'm not quiet sure i understand your question... It's normally not another menu which is selected after click...

for information, before click, the url is :

ww.mysite.fr/nos-publications/infos-pole

and after click :
ww.mysite.fr/nos-publications/infos-pole?start=5

This page isn't called for anywhere else...

the menu item is of type "category", right?
(and not of type "multiple categories" which do not have a menu override but rather the menu parameters are always used)


if it is of category , then avoid to enable the category parameters in the menu item and instead use the category parameters

about this behaviors i will try to test and reproduce

Unfortunately, the menu parameters are already all set as "global parameters" (means Flexicontent parameters)... What can i do?

The "use global" means the Global Component but the category parameters will take priority !

So check your category paraters and make sure that they are what you need, but if same as Global , then better leave category parameters to be "use Global" too

so set category parameters and disable menu override for category parameters,

i will test and post back to you if it is a bug or misconfiguration or ask you more questions

It was my mistake : I displayed the 5 first items as "principal", and 5 was also the number of items par page. That was why i thought it was a pagination error : It wasn't. It was only the display on the "intro" items which was wrong... Just a confusion, so.
