File field upload not appearing if not in first page

Could you replicate this?

Upload a file. The name of this file would put it on a page different than the first one. The file is not selected automatically.

you mean the item-form is the "first page" and popup file selection is the "second page" ?

and can you describe your original post with more details ?

The file selection have pagination if you have a lot of files, correct? So I´m talking about pages on this "file selection" page.

Yeah exactly. The popup iframe url is something like "administrator/index.php?option=com_flexicontent&task=filemanager.upload"

I have two projects working on and for issues out of my control they have different flexicontent versions, I´ll try to make myself clear regarding the versions when troubleshooting

-1- many answers apply to both version
but note we can only support latest, we will not test or bug-fix an older version,

bug-fixes will be included only on latest version




-2- regarding this bug, i see (from your PM) that you report a bug that an uploaded file cannot be auto-selected in the case that it does not appear on current page , right ?
(you original post sounded like the UPLOAD FORM does not appear on second page)
if you had written "File uploaded" instead of ... "File field upload" then it would have been clear)

e.g you are at page 3 and the new uploaded file would be listed at page 1 so the auto-selection (auto adding to the item form) does not work

I don´t expect bugfixes for older versions but I don´t always have the chance to test the newest version. I´ll try to stay updated as much as I can, but if I discover a bug on an old version that doesn´t mean automatically that it´s fixed later

Hello, yes you are right a bug maybe present in both v2.1.2 and v2.1.1

-1- just if we cannot replicate in latest version then we will ask you to upgrade

-2- or if you have a too old version, then we will ask you to upgrade anyway

and note that the bug-fix usually will be available only for the latest version
