I have installed the latest version of Flexicontent in Joomla 1.5. When I click on the import option, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in <route to joomla root>/administrator/components/com_flexicontent/views/import/view.html.php on line 178

Hello

i will verify this

a quick fix (we may not release new version for J1.5):
comment out the line 178 by adding to slashes in front of it

Thank you very much for your help. Now a new error message appears:

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in <joomla root>/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 232

Is there a specific reason why you are importing in Joomla 1.5? This version is outdated and not longer supported. So if you are setting up a new page you should use Joomla 2.5!

I'm not importing anything. I just checked if it worked or not. Flexicontent is a part of a web of a client doesn't want to migrate to a later version of Joomla.

why ???
if you want to migrate to joomla 2.5 with flexicontent
read faq and use fleximigrate

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.

Well, if it is your client you should tell him that it is only a matter of time until he or she MUST upgrade to a later version because of security issues of Joomla 1.5 and even more important the additional installed components. But then it might be too late because the page is hacked and has to be put offline for a while...

Thank you very much for your help. I've read faqs. I do not need import option if I'm not migrating to Joomla 2.5, and if I'm not using Joomla 2.5.

Problem solved. :D

Hello

one way to get the CSV import to work in J1.5 is to install Joomfish for J1.5, this will prevent these errors from occurring,

we would fix this but a new J1.5 version will probably not be released
