It seems to be a problem with names with accents (áéíóú) when importing articles with files associated.

Hello

please answer these first:

1. problem is in item form too or in import view only ?

2. when you say problem you mean that the filenames are renamed or that the files can not be used (/imported) ?

On Item form:

- A file named "Documentación" is renamed to "Documentacion", but is uploaded and able to be choosen.

On import view:
- The importation is stopped with a "File not found" error.

Hello

files should be renamed during uploading

- in the case of filemanager this is done

- in the case of CSV import you are uploading via FTP or other way, so there is no chance to rename them, and PHP5 can handle this on some server or on ALL servers

so we can not support this during import (with PHP5)

you will have to rename them before uploading or after uploading and before using the FLEXIcontent CSV import task

Regards

Ok, will be take into account :)

So I understand you can´t simply link the accented files without renaming anything?

Hello

yes filemanager / fileselement (item form) will rename any such uploaded files

but NOTE:

-- since name is saved, when user downloads the file, a correct filename should be added to HTTP header thus the file will be downloaded with the original filename

(the above is what i remember from last time revising the download task, maybe i remember wrong)

Regards
