Thank you for the great upgrades to this product over recent weeks.

Some small things with 2.2.0 r1932/Joomla 3.3.3.

1. email field - with r1932 the field is responding as always "required" when the field is set to "The above & also display instead of empty" with a default using a "space". Therefore cannot be saved with no entry in the email field. This is similar to the topic:

www.flexicontent.org/forum/index ... =viewtopic

This appears when editing both the front and backend.

This did not appear in 2.2.0 r1908 but reappeared in r1932.

2. Small CSS bug of a collapsed box in front end form when adding secondary categories.

3. Many Flexi plugins language showing as, for example:
COM_PLUGINS_GROUP-RADIO_FIELDSET_LABEL.

Temporarily test with the default joomla template, does it work ?

COM_PLUGINS_GROUP-RADIO_FIELDSET_LABEL.

is it for English language or for other language ?

Thanks.

2. CSS bug on Secondary categorieS:

Tried this with Joomla default template and fine. Also with new Joomla/Flexicontent install and it was fine as well.

3. Plugin language:

Yes, English install. Most, if not all plugins aren't reading the language file somehow.

Hello

about 2,

that is why we use important to style specific and always specific elements, some general CSS rules in your template is causing the issue

post a picture that shows the issue, to understand what you are talking about

of course CSS and CSS fixes is the responcibility of web-site designer, but some stricter CSS rule may be worth adding to our default CSS

about 3,
it is strange that you have these with English language
maybe reapply / reupload the FLEXIcontent package ? (do not uninstall !!) , in case the old files were not overwritten, is the language folder writtable ?

Thanks for the reply.

No. 2 Thanks and yes this was a CSS rule from a non-default joomla template. I have now fixed this at my end.

No. 3. I did a new upload of r1932 and no change on this point.

Plugin and all language folders are writable.

I have attached a file with pictures of the plugin area of the Flexi backend for both hathor and isis templates and there is quite a difference in the radio plugin, for example. Including the missing constant values.

I looked for a language file that would contain the missing constants and couldn't find any. For example, in en-GB.plg_flexicontent_fields_radio, there are no constants/values listed.

Hello

extract a language file of a plugin out of zip installation archive,

and upload it manually e.g. via FTP, does it work ?

can you check not only folder permission of the language folder, but also the ownership and permissions of the language files ?
