merci for looking and solving the problem. Unfortunately it does not solve the problem for my accounts. For testing purposes i logged in with your account et voila – it works!

It seems to be a user dependent solution, can you please tell me what you did, when you say "disable conservatif cache"?

Just one question, as you see, my joomla installation is in a sub directory, may this affect this functionality?

On "Menu System > configuration > System > Cache" i can activate or deactivate or do anything, but there is no change to my disappeared description field. By the way this is a global setting, so i wonder why this fixes the problem in one account but not for others :

Yes i did. And no matter if i do or not, in your account it works, in my account it does not work…

Hello Micker and ggppdk,

after some testing over and over i have a strange "Solution" for you:

With both of my superadmin useraccounts i was able to get the description field showing with changing in personal account data my helpserver from standard to french (maybe english would be fine either, but did not tested). This is what i saw when i examined mickers account. Something like a last resort, never thought of, this could make a change.

Unfortunately i could not get the error again in switching helpserver back to standard again…

Really unexpected behaviour, what do you think about?
