dear flexicontent team,

i m using obgrabber for importing external content on my site.
on the older flexicontent-version (2.1.2 r1806 beta), it's working all fine.
on the 2.2.0 stable version, i have a problem:
the items are imported, but do not appear in the backend.
when i logout/login, the message: "Update temporary item data" appears. after doing this, everything there are all available.

so, when checking the database before updating temporay item data, the entries of new articles are all missing in the #__flexicontent_items_tmp

is there a setting or something i can do to get all data directly available?

many thanks,
bart

Hello

please upgrade to v2.2.1 rc1 has no new bugs compared to v2.2.0, and retest

Hello

after importing,
please logout-relogin and visit
1. FLEXIcontent dashboard
2. and then items manager

you should be asked to make updates for imported content
and the items should appear after the above

thanks, this is exactly what i am doing.

but, content will be imported every 3h and i can't expect the client to activate articles, everytime he enters the backend.
is this issue known?

on an older site it worked perfectly.

Hello

the temporary table is used in various places

e.g. in frontend item listings and backend items manager

and in frontend item counting, we will add parameter to control the usage of in v3

currently you cannot disable it

one idea/question:

is it possible to "Update temporary item data" by cron-job?
so, we could import the content and straight afterward update the data.

yes cron job is a good idea
or plugin to execute task 1x per day => first user connected by day for exemple
